There are two seaports with annual cargo turnover of 15 mln tones, plus three international airports and several national airports across the regions. Acting as a transport corridor (up to 60% of the cargo flow is transit) Georgia has a developed road and rail infrastructure which combines 1.500 km of international roads and 2.100 km of railway. Infrastructure development process is ongoing actively and in coming years some major project will be implemented (Anaklia deep sea port, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, East-West Highway etc.) which will significantly increase Georgia’s transit capacity.
